MAXCOR’s tech sheet goes on-and-on, but the highlight of this design is the Viscoelastic Polyurethane Sleeve on its barrel. This creates not only a longer sweet and a wider sweet spot. The VP Sleeve also promotes more backspin on contact resulting in more carry. Under that sleeve lies a new, Variable Wall Thickness Alloy Core. This proprietary core Utilizes 5 different wall thicknesses to optimize performance along the barrel; while still meeting BBCOR standards.

Other new aspects to the 2016 model include a more-balanced swing weight and a redesigned Dynamic Damper transition piece to absorb negative vibrations.
